HINTS WITH CANWELL PARISH COUNCIL

 

NOTICE   OF  VACANCY  FOR   A

PARISH  COUNCILLOR

 

NOTICE  IS  HEREBY  GIVEN  THAT:

1. A casual vacancy has occurred in the office of Councillor for the above-named Hints with Canwell Parish Council, caused by the resignation of Cllr. Sally Shepherd.

 

2. An election to fill the vacancy will be held if, within 14 days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays) a request for such an election is made in writing to: The Returning Officer, Lichfield District Council, District Council House, Frog Lane, Lichfield WS13 6YU by ten local government electors for the said Hints with Canwell Parish . The period ends on 13^th November 2025.

 

3. If an election is not requested, Hints with Canwell Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
